Happy Birthday to ME!

Even though it's Afton's birthday coming up, Grandma Mona treated us all to what many have dubbed the best carrot cake they've ever had. We all felt like it was our birthday after biting into a piece of this cake.



The picture doesn't do it justice, but Grandma Mona's cake looked straight up like the one in the magazine. Paula Dean's recipes never fail and neither, it seems, does Grandma Mona.

(just don't tell us how much butter and powdered sugar was in the frosting alone...)
